It really isn't about us but about Jesus Christ. And, it's about helping people. That is our mission.
The main purpose of this ministry is to ease the suffering of AIDS around the world and do our part in eliminating the disease through our training seminars.
In addition to this we provide free medical care to impoverished communities in Third World countries, distribute reading glasses, and evangelize.
The picture to the right is an eyeclinic we conducted in Trinidad. 
Here at home we conduct Mentoring His Handmaidens Seminars for women who feel the call of God upon their lives and need some guidance in how to pursue the call. There are six sessions in each seminar which is a day-long event. The ladies learn how to identify their calling, how to balance their ministy with their other obligations and even the proper dress for women ministers. The cost is $30. per person which includes all of the materials and lunch. If you are interested in one of these seminars or in having us conduct one in your location, please contact us.
The Founder and Executive Director of Hope Extended Ministries, Inc. is Betty Rushford. Although she holds a Doctor of Ministry Degree, she received most of her training at the knee of her father, Rev. C. G. Estes who preached for more than 60 years. 
Betty and her husband, Bill have two living children and one granddaughter. Their youngest son, Dino contracted HIV/AIDS in 1985 and passed away in 1998. That is why Betty has such a passion to reach out to those infected/affected by the disease. Betty wants the HIV/AIDS infected/affected person to feel loved and accepted and to come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. She has led many HIV+ patients to the Lord already. Her goal is to play a part in curbing the spread of HIV/AIDS, help people with HIV live normal lives, and to stimulate the Body of Christ to show the unconditional love of Jesus. The mission of the ministry is to preach and teach the infallible Word of God with an emphasis on salvation for the unsaved and spiritual maturity for the saved; to minister healing and wholeness to the sick, the wounded, and the broken through the Word of God and through the gifts of the Holy Spirit; to help set the captive free; and to show acts of love and compassion to those in need. The vision of this ministry is to effect our mission by reaching more people and providing more of their needs, especially the sick and the orphans.
