People living with HIV/AIDS often feel that they are isolated from society and have nowhere to turn and no one to help them, causing them to lose hope. In some countries, this is very true. The stigma associated with HIV/AIDS has caused the infected person to retreat into secrecy and isolation. This often results in an earlier than usual death due to the lack of love, touch, and acceptance.
The pastors and church leaders will be educated about HIV/AIDS and trained in how to help stop the stigma surrounding the virus by teaching their congregations to unconditionally accept and love those affected. They will be motivated to teach abstinence and sound moral behaviours on a regular basis to help arrest the spread of AIDS.HOPE EXTENDED MINISTRIES, INC
